Faith ministry continues, even as we remain physically distant. We celebrate God's Spirit leading us.

Over 50 people received the imposition of ashes (contactless) from their cars during the day on Ash Wednesday. And our 7th & 9th graders received ashes in the sanctuary on Wednesday night. Ever wonder what aspects of our human existence ashes symbolize?  Check out this resource from the ELCA.

Volunteers and staff did special Valentine's Day cards for our elders and shut-ins. Sharing God's grace and love for these dear sisters and brothers in Christ.

Thank you, Diane Joslyn, for leading our "Warmth and Light" outreach, purchasing cold weather items for those experiencing homelessness.  Items including hand and feet warmers, batteries, lighters and flashlights provided hope and help during our recent cold snap. "This grant is such a blessing for our homeless brothers and sisters! I thank God for the opportunity for Faith to be able  to contribute a little light and warmth to those whose need is so great." 

Thank you to all who contributed to our virtual giving tree, bringing joy to those living at Stepping Stones, a short-term homeless shelter.  Not only were we able to provide 2 needs and 1 want (in many cases more than that) to 3 families but also the FLURB ministry was able to provide 6 laptops, one for each child, to be able to participate in distance learning!
