Baby Shower!

Refugee Outreach had an exciting opportunity this summer to participate in a baby shower for newly arrived refugees who were expecting babies.  Faith was able to provide two highchairs, a changing pad for a changing table, and 4 $50 gift cards for the expectant mothers. 

We also helped two families in need by providing $1,000 to help them with their rent.

And I was able to welcome Cate Duin back to LSS as my contact person at LSS for Refugee Outreach.  She is pictured with me accepting a huge load of donated baby gear and toys.
