Drop in Music Ministry opportunities

Open to everyone interested in a short term music ministry experience Wednesdays 7:30-8:15

Each month we will have a different musical experience for individuals or family members to experience together.   Try one, try several, or try all.

 

Sept: Worship band - Sanctuary (with Linda and Kyle) rehearse with Worship Band to sing songs at 10:30 worship

Oct: Boomwackers - Bell room (with Dean)

learn an easy and fun piece on boomwackers.   No experience necessary.  

Nov:  Drumming - Choir room (with Ted) learn to layer rhythms together for a cool musical presentation

Dec: festival choir - Choir room (with Linda and Alan) come to learn the songs we will be singing on Christmas Eve services.

Jan: Worship band - Sanctuary (with Linda and Kyle)

Feb: bells or chimes - bell room (with Dean)

Mar: festival choir - Choir room (with Linda and Alan)

      come to learn the songs we will be singing on Easter services

April: drumming - choir room (with Ted)

May: Worship Band - Sanctuary (with Linda and Kyle)

 

Also during this time, Linda and Alan will be working with small groups of musicians who wish to prepare solos, duets, etc for a single Sunday in worship.
