Children's ministry coordinator
Part-time
Seeking an enthusiastic, fun individual to become a Children’s Ministry Coordinator. This is a part-time, non-exempt position responsible for leading Wednesday evening programming for children in grades K–2 and/or 3–6 and assisting with Sunday morning and special event programming for children from birth through 6th grade. Working closely with the Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries, the coordinator helps plan curriculum, supervises gym activities, supports Sunday School teachers, and engages with children and families in alignment with ELCA doctrine. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and relational skills, along with the ability to adapt to changing needs and maintain a welcoming, team-oriented attitude. The coordinator also helps share the impact of children’s ministry through storytelling and photography, supervises volunteers, and participates in regular performance reviews to support ongoing professional growth.
