Bible Blessing

Psalm 33 says: “The Word of the Lord is upright, and all the Lord’s work is done in faithfulness”

Hold your Bible and say, “This is the Word of the Lord! Thanks be to God.”

Then speak these words, 

“Gracious God, your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.  

Bless this Bible and those who read it.  

May your word strengthen, encourage, and guide us in faith.

Speak your word to us, so that we may know the promise of your love, trust the goodness of your grace, follow the way that leads from darkness into light and live as your children, now and forever.”
