Home remedies:
Drink lots of fluids, water, juice or tea. Try chicken soup. Scientists have found that it has some anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce mucus production in the respiratory tract and help relieve congestion. Get lots of rest. Most people recover from a cold in about a week or two but for some relief of discomfort products such as Tylenol, and Ibuprofen may help relieve fever, sore throat and headaches. Just be sure not to give aspirin to children as it has been associated with Reyes syndrome.
Get your flu shot which will be available again October 22, from 8:30 to 11:30. In the Faith Life Center.
Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory book of your children.
