Seeking: Our 2023 Lenten Theme

This Lent we will take part in this quest together with the theme, Seeking: Partners on the Road.

This Lent we are seeking: seeking clarity, seeking wisdom, seeking a love that makes us whole. Christians have a long tradition of embarking on a spiritual quest, which invites us to look with fresh eyes at our life and the world, and listen for the longing in our souls.

This Lent we will take part in this quest together with the theme, Seeking: Partners on the Road.  Each Sunday in Lent, Faith will encounter ministry partners along our spiritual road. Come and hear the stories of Jesus found in Scripture come alive in stories from our ministry partners.  All you need to begin is a willing heart!

Lenten Schedule:

Feb 26:On the Road to Sacred Settlements (Tiny House community)

Mar 5: On the Road to Ukraine

Mar 12: On the Road to Tanzania

Mar 19: On the Road to Helping Hands

Mar 26: On the Road to Refugees in Minnesota
 
Also join us for Midweek worship Wednesdays at 11:30 AM followed by lunch and 7:00 PM.

I love being the pastor at Faith Lutheran! There is always something new and exciting happening here. I started in 2016 and Faith was the right place for my family to join (my wife Taryn and I have 8 kids). I think ministry is about what God has us doing beyond the walls of the building—but worship is an essential part of our community of believers coming together to support one another, grow in faith, and learn about how God is calling us to be God’s hands, feet, and voice in the world.
