Faith ministry continues, even as we remain physically distant. We celebrate God's Spirit leading us this past week.

A message from Diane Joslyn, coordinator of winter clothing drive at Faith: 

"As I prepare the last of the many many boxes of clothing donations for our homeless brothers in St Paul I was again struck by the overwhelmingly generous hearts of our Faith family!   As donations poured in I was so very blessed by the thought of the many ways Faith has boldly, in Jesus name, moved forward during this long pandemic. Our feet have not faltered and as God's Sprit leads us, we continue to walk in His name with a real opportunity to bless and love others, even as we have been blessed and loved. In the midst of all the turmoil in our world today, we can and do still see the steady and loving hand of God.  Thanks to all for your sincere kindness."

We had our largest virtual prayer lab ever on Sunday!  10 gathered to explore different ways to be open and welcoming to others with differing opinions and beliefs. We celebrate the opportunity to enter sacred space that invites people into connection with God through prayer.

Our homebound ministry of twice monthly cards, letters and phone calls continues. One new volunteer joined our team of individuals making phone calls to shut-ins. "After just a few calls I saw how our services are a real lifeline [online and on the radio].  They gave me more in my calls then I gave them."

Praise God for the powerful ways God connects and sustains us through the ministry of Faith Lutheran.  On Sunday, November 8, worshippers were touched and inspired by stories shared by two Faith members.  Lloyd Sather shares about the impact Faith has on his life and our powerful outreach into the community. We are excited to faithfully follow God’s Spirit!
