Ministry is vibrant and alive at Faith, even as we remain physically distant. We celebrate God’s Spirit leading us this past week.

Groups are finding creative ways to continue forward in ministry. Faith Choir is using a new Facebook group to learn songs, sing virtually, and come together in Fellowship. Committees and groups are connecting on-line including Book Club, Benevolence Team, Adult Education, Old Guys, Veteran’s Team, Finance Committee, Faith Council, and the Sacred Settlement Development Team. Past participants of Discover Your Spiritual Gifts participated in a Zoom reunion for conversation and reflection.

Our most recent “Word on the Street” was popular with the viewing audience (it did not hurt that it was a Star Wars theme to get everyone’s attention). Faith kids used video to teach us all about Apostles. What a blessing that we can continue to connect with the youth of our congregation.

Volunteers from Faith came together to do outside spring cleaning on Earth Day while maintaining safe physical distancing. DeWayne Jacobson wore “hole-y” gloves. According to DeWayne, they are his church gloves because they are “holy.”

We are learning new ways to connect with our Creator during our time at home via Deacon Nina’s Prayer Lab videos. Most recently we were encouraged to make outdoor walks prayerful. Thank you for sending photos and descriptions of your prayer walks! Kathy Wright shared “We saw so much ‘God’. It was a much needed hike for our bodies and our souls. Thanks for reminding us to look for all the beauty God has to share with us!”
